Sea of Fallen Stars

The Sea of Fallen Stars, also known as the Inner Sea, is the largest inland body of water in Faerûn. It connects numerous nations and serves as the primary maritime trade route for much of the continent.

The sea borders many prominent lands including Cormyr, Sembia, the Vilhon Reach, and Aglarond. For the peoples of the Farsea region, the Sea of Fallen Stars represents the broader world beyond the swamps — a gateway to commerce, culture, and conflict on a continental scale.

The Foxmantle family and other Sembian-connected houses maintain trade relationships that depend on these sea routes.
