House Foxmantle
House Foxmantle

House Foxmantle is a half-elven merchant dynasty originally from Sembia, and one of the three founding families of the Farseas enterprise alongside House Kropus and House Osrin. The family's commercial empire spans grains, textiles, military logistics, and shipping, with a mighty fleet operating across the Sea of Fallen Stars. Their logo — a stylised fox head — ends up everywhere their goods travel.
The Foxmantles did not build the Farseas. They paid for it.
Role in the Founding & The Stormhorns War Trade
Carcenjo Foxmantle I met Hiren Kropus during early Farsea explorations and was nearly eaten by The Suh'Skel before Hiren negotiated his freedom as part of securing the first methane drilling site. From that beginning, Carcenjo I wrote the fat cheques that funded the entire operation.
Today, under Carcenjo Foxmantle II, House Foxmantle profits from both sides of regional instability — operating armed merchant convoys that sell heavy military gear and siege supplies to Cormyr for the Stormhorns war against Krusht, while simultaneously employing Drakkhen Crowman and pressuring Elden's Crossing to seize Farsea methane rights.
