Stjorrayrm is an archaic name of uncertain origin sometimes used in old texts to refer to One Eye — the colossal crocodile that once terrorized the Farseas swamps. The name appears in fragments of pre-settlement lore among the Lizardpeoples and Bullywugs, where the creature was spoken of as a force of nature rather than a mere beast.
Whether Stjorrayrm is a proper name, a title, or a corruption of an older word in the swamp creole dialects is debated by what few scholars concern themselves with Farseas history. In common usage it has been entirely displaced by the simpler sobriquet One Eye.
