Xevus Coralheart

Xevus Coralheart is a lizardfolk council member and scion of the Coralheart Family — the family that currently rules Threetrees in the aftermath of the The Suh'Skel insurrection. His kidnapping by the Suh'Skel opened the The Farsea Chronicles campaign's first season.

Season 1 Hook

At the start of the Farseas Chronicles, Xevus was kidnapped by the Suh'Skel in a daytime raid — a dramatic act of political violence that served as the campaign's inciting incident. His rescue by the players was their first significant action in the Farseas, and his safe return opened the players' diplomatic relationships with the native faction politics of Threetrees.

Character

Xevus represents the "negotiation wing" of native Farseas politics — the tradition of working within the mixed-species council structure rather than the Suh'Skel's more absolute position. He is married to a bullywug wife, which speaks to his personal investment in cross-species co-existence in Threetrees.

His political position represents the western tribal interests on the old council — voices that have sometimes been in tension with the city's eastern factions.

Current Status

With the Suh'Skel's overthrow of the council and the Coralheart family rising to prominence in the aftermath, Xevus's individual position within the new power structure is complex. His family's name is now the dominant one in Threetrees — but the political environment in which they operate is not the one he spent his career navigating.
