Welcome to the Farsea Chronicles
Welcome to the Farsea Chronicles
The wiki has grown. What started as scattered notes and half-remembered lore has become something real — a living encyclopedia of the Farsea Swamp, its people, and the forces that shaped this forsaken corner of the Forgotten Realms.
What's New
Over the past weeks, we've compiled years of campaign history, oral lore, and world-building into over 130 wiki pages covering the Farsea Chronicles. Here's a taste of what you'll find:
The Great Houses
The Farsea Swamp's history is defined by its founding families:
- House Osrin — The moral compass. Eleanor Osrin brought civilization to the methane frontier, and her descendants carry the weight of her legacy (and her curse). Their family crest — a silver goose — is now a bitter reminder of Thayan cruelty.
- Kropus — The empire builders. From Hiren's frontier exploration to Vader's mercantile consolidation, the Kropus family turned swamp gas into gold. Now torn apart by civil war.
- House Irungarten — The quiet power behind the throne, whose political maneuvering kept the Farsea settlements alive through every crisis.
The Powers That Lurk
The swamp is not kind to the ambitious:
- Thay — The Red Wizards' influence seeps through every crack in the Farsea's defenses. Their agents, like Etterych Osrin, embedded themselves in the founding families through marriage and manipulation.
- Karzath — A daemon summoned by Thayan ambition, bound beneath the earth, whose influence corrupts everything it touches.
- The Siv — An ancient race with their own agenda, watching the humans build their empires on borrowed time.
The Spirit Road
The great The Spirit Road — a mystical pathway connecting the living world to something older — winds through our campaign's deepest mysteries. Those who walk it rarely return unchanged.

What's Coming
We're not done. There are still corners of the Farseas unexplored — the Underdark connections through Sschindylryn, the remaining Thayan noble houses, and the fate of characters whose stories are still being told at the table.
This wiki is a living document. It grows with every session.
Welcome to the Farseas. Watch your step — the ground here has a habit of swallowing the unwary.
