Old One Eye was the colloquial name for the colossal crocodile — a creature of near-mythological size — that terrorized the Farseas swamps for generations before it was brought down by adventurers under a contract commissioned by Hiren Kropus. Its eggs were later secured by Vader Kropus and kept under vault, their location a closely guarded secret.

The creature's name derived from the single surviving eye that stared down from an otherwise scarred and battle-worn face. Among the swamp peoples it was spoken of with a mixture of dread and grim reverence.
