Woolipeds

Woolipeds are shaggy, heavy-set, cold-adapted beasts of burden native to the high snowfields and windswept passes of the Stormhorns.

Mountain Logistics & Ambulance Sleds

Wild herds of Woolipeds roam the blizzard-swept horizons between M.A.S.H. and the northern passes, while domesticated teams are kept in fortified paddocks by Cormyrean Purple Dragon garrisons:

Heavy Sled Draft Teams: Prized for their sure-footed traction in deep alpine drifts, Woolipeds haul the reinforced ten-by-five-foot wooden-and-iron medical ambulance sleds used to ferry wounded troops through Shatterstone Gorge.
Shatterstone Paddock Massacre: When Commander Vargath's Stone Giants pulverized the Cormyrean fort overlooking Shatterstone Gorge, the garrison's Wooliped paddock was flattened beneath hurled boulders — forcing Stompah and Anvil to dig two surviving ambulance sleds out of the wreckage and pilot them down the three-mile ravine manually.
