Cormyrian
Cormyrian describes a person or thing of Cormyr. The term is used interchangeably with Cormyrean and Cormyte, the latter having been specifically popularized by King Azoun Obarskyr IV.
Usage in the Farseas
While the Farseas and surrounding regions fall nominally within the Cormyrean empire's territorial claims, the swamp populations — Lizardpeoples, Bullywugs, Fishfolk, and generations of Drovers — largely do not identify as Cormyrean subjects. The question of whether the swamp peoples are citizens of Cormyr or a separate people within the kingdom is a persistent political tension, and one that underlies much of the conflict in the Tunlands.
