Hiren

For the full article, see Hiren Kropus.

Hiren Kropus (1363–1444 DR) was a human explorer, linguist, and the founder of the Kropus family's Farseas enterprise — one of three founding figures of the region alongside Eleanor Osrin and Carcenjo Foxmantle I.

Comely, glib-tongued, and skilled in many languages, Hiren was the first to recognize and act upon the methane potential hidden beneath the Farseas swamps. His negotiation with the Suh'Skel for the first drilling site — and his rescue of Carcenjo Foxmantle I in the process — laid the foundation for everything the three families would build together.

Note: Hiren was human, not half-elven. His son Vader Kropus was half-elven because Hiren married into an elven or half-elven lineage.
